creative2This year’s programme is about creative writing in English. When we began the programme we were all a bit shy, but as the programme was ‘developing’ we all started to learn things and to love one another (e.g. personality, etc.). We got closer and closer and … here we are now, writing the final lines for our project!

Well, to be honest, on the one hand, enthusiasm and excitement were feelings, which we shared along the way. Also, creativity and cooperation were our weapons to keep the programme ‘going’!

On the other hand, we missed a few meetings, due to school trips, etc. We also think that a negative point was that there were only four of us in the group- You win some, you lose some!

Generally, we feel that the atmosphere in the programme was friendly and our English teachers helped us a lot! We strongly suggest that this programme be repeated!

My i pod poem

Αφορμή για το κόμικ που παρουσιάζουμε εδώ αποτέλεσε ένα ποίημα του Kenn Nesbitt για ένα i pod....


My iPod …

My teacher took my iPod.

She said they had a rule;

I couldn’t bring it into class

Or even to the school.


She said she would return it;

I’d have it back today.

But then she tried my headphones on

And gave a click on Play.

She looked a little startled,

But after just a while

She made sure we were occupied

And cracked a wicked smile.

Her body started swaying,

Her toes began to tap.

She soon was grooving in her seat

And rocking to the rap.

My teacher changed her mind.

She said it’s now okay

To bring my iPod into class.

She takes it every day.

Creative writing

creative1Το πρόγραμμα της δημιουργικής γραφής στην αγγλική γλώσσα έχει ως σκοπό την επαφή των μαθητών με διάφορα κειμενικά είδη. Στοχεύει επίσης στην ενίσχυση της ικανότητας των μαθητών να συντάσσουν γραπτά κείμενα χρησιμοποιώντας ποικίλες τεχνικές συγγραφής.

Φέτος, θα ασχοληθούμε με μικρά ποιήματα και τη μεταφορά τους σε πεζό λόγο. Συγκεκριμένα οι μαθητές θα γράψουν ιστορίες με αφορμή ποιήματα που θα διαβάσουμε μαζί, τις οποίες θα επιχειρήσουν να μετατρέψουν σε κόμικ, αξιοποιώντας νέες τεχνολογίες (ηλεκτρονικό κόμικ και ηλεκτρονικό βιβλίο).
